I highly recommend Diane Gallagher as an outstanding, highly skilled dog trainer. I write this having attended many of her classes over the last thirteen years. Also, being the owner of Dogwatch of the Carolina Coast (a hidden fence dealer) I have sought her advice on many dog related issues. Diane has given me effective strategies for working with dogs. She offers a wealth of knowledge about training, dog behavior, pet nutrition and grooming. Because she is so experienced, her classes are very clear and demonstrate a very common sense approach. Clients who follow through with her suggestions get results. Diane can offer clients a wide variety of methods to train their dogs depending on the situation. She is an e-collar training specialist. I have been impressed with the extensive field work/retriever train she has done. In addition, she is very skilled at conformation training. Currently I attend DOGTRAIN's competition class. We do high level obedience training. Many of the same people return week after week because we are challenged yet have a great time working with Diane. She has a great sense of humor and at the time is the type of teacher who can help her students achieve whatever goals they wish to accomplish with their dog.
